November 20, 2009-- The Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA) is organizing a seminar on major economic policy and fiscal strategy issues in Nigeria aimed at stimulating rigorous debate on the broad implications of the 2010 Federal Government Budget and the use of Sovereign Wealth Funds for oil revenue management. This seminar will also elicit informed discussion on an innovative bond financing scheme for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Nigeria that will help shape the direction of its policy. The seminar targets various stakeholders, including policymakers, private sector operators, civil society organizations, members of the academic and research community, the media, and donor agencies.
